campground review: pontchatrain landing

while in new orleans we stayed at pontchatrain landing.  in a questionable neighborhood, next to a random body of water, but just 5 miles from the french quarter.  here is a review of our experience...

the sweet:
the campground was brand new(open 2 years) and it showed, the laundry room and bathrooms were shiny.  the amenities were nice;  the office sold pizza and wings, it had a bar, dog park, pool and hot tub.  also was nice was the free shuttle(drunk) bus to and from the city.  it seemed safe in an otherwise not so safe environment.

the sour:
the restrooms were designed by the nba - the toilets were so high that your feet hung freely.
